This past week has been the most stupendous, fantastic, and totally awesome week in Camp Gan Israel of Charlotte County. From water play, sports, and hunts to trips, baking, and crafts, we had an absolute blast!
Our theme this summer is “Let’s Build the Bais Hamikdash,” in other words the third temple. The way to do this is by doing mitzvos and good deeds. Each mitzvah adds another brick to the structure. Our goal this summer is to finish building the third Beis Hamikdosh once and for all, bringing us to the era of Moshiach, a world of good, peace, and happiness. During camp, we are giving mitzvah notes to our campers for all of the wonderful things that they are doing. These notes are stuck on to our very own Beis Hamikdash poster, so that we see the temple being built.
