Dear Parents,

Wow what an amazing week we just had! It flew by so fast We can hardly believe it's over. 

Tuesday was off to a smashing start with an   exciting scavenger hunt to find out our bunks. We had a splashy blast at Jumping Fountains! We had relay races, then cooled down while baking cookies and playing minesweeper like real soldiers! We decorated and painted beautiful treasure boxes to use to store the beads we earn for good behavior! What a packed first day!!

 Everyone arrived at camp with smiling faces and  yellow Gan Izzy shirts for our first trip! We all enjoyed playing games, riding rides and climbing the structure at Chuck E. Cheese. We even got to meet Chuck himself! Then we enjoyed the park and a special treat, slurpees!!

Thursday was an awesome day! We had exciting water activities including “Steal the Kosher Salami.” Kosher twister and banana     measuring were followed by making our own ice cream. Yum! We had an A-Z Kosher hunt at Dollar General and enjoyed finding so many Kosher products!

 Happy Birthday to Yossi! We celebrated everyone’s Jewish birthday with a grand birthday and Shabbos party all together. We ate cake and enjoyed watching a Parsha show put on by the older boys. Pass the parcel, bean hunt, then off to Kidstar. Boy, did we have fun!! Rest up over the weekend and get ready for another smashing week in Gan Izzy!
